- The Cardinal flash-upgradable external 28.8 modem is a good consumer-grade
- modem, I'd consider it on par with the Motorola Power 28.8, and it's less
- expensive.

- IMHO, all modems except for the Courier HST external suck. If you can't afford
- a Courier, the question comes down to choosing the modem that sucks the least.
